The Florida senator, who had been campaigning around the state with Mitt Romney, flew home to Miami yesterday after learning that his 12-year-old daughter, Amanda, had been a passenger in a “golf cart involved collision.” The girl was airlifted to Miami Children’s Hospital with a head injury and is said to be in fair condition.
