Prosecutors in California have dropped the murder charges against veteran tennis umpire Lois Goodman, who was plucked from New York during the U.S. Open for allegedly killing her husband of 50 years with a coffee cup. The case was dismissed without prejudice, so charges could be brought again, but in addition to a lack of forensic evidence, the 70-year-old Goodman reportedly passed a polygraph test.
