Though lawyers for Dominique Strauss-Kahn insisted last month that he hadn’t agreed to pay former Sofitel Hotel maid Nafissatou Diallo $6 million to settle her civil suit, the case may come to an end tomorrow. The judge in the case has ordered an interpreter for Diallo at a hearing scheduled for Monday, which signals that they may be inking a deal, according to the Daily News. Diallo has reportedly settled her defamation lawsuit against the Post, which called her a prostitute, for an undisclosed figure. While a deal would end this particular unsavory incident, DSK is still facing aggravated pimping charges in France. A court is set to rule on his bid to dismiss those charges next week.
