Former Romney Adviser Taken Down by Keynesian CNBC Prop

Glenn Hubbard, the Columbia professor and former economic adviser to Mitt Romney, was just going about his business explaining supply-side economics to CNBC this morning when one of the network’s cardboard signs “trickled down” onto his head.

Hubbard, who is no stranger to unwanted intervention (it’s an econ joke, and I apologize), shrugged it off by saying, “That’s what happens when you criticize the welfare state.”
