A car crash in Brooklyn on Wednesday night sounds like a terrifying ordeal, but it involved a heroic feat of strength: After a livery cab apparently hit a sedan in Brownsville, sending it onto the sidewalk where it pinned a young girl underneath, bystanders came to the rescue and hoisted it off her. “It took at least seven men two tries to lift the light-colored sedan off the child,” The New York Post reported. She’s one of six taken to the hospital, their conditions still unknown.
