york area residents of Gerritsen Beach Brooklyn work on recovering from the storms disasterous path.Coming back after evacuating their homes people are dealing with flooding,power outages,lack of utilities and no drinking water.

The body found naked in Marine Park on Sunday morning has been identified as that of 14-year-old Brooklyn girl Shaniesha Forbes. The Post reports that Forbes was last seen on Friday, and her family said she’d disappeared before. Forbes had burns on her hands, face, and legs and her body was found partially buried in the sand near the remnants of a bonfire. The burns weren’t life-threatening and authorities are still trying to determine the cause of death.
