A fire that started in a South Richmond Hill apartment around 2:30 a.m. on Sunday was described as “suspicious” earlier today, and it turns out that was an understatement. Authorities say that after the fire was extinguished, they found the body of a 43-year-old Asian man who had been shot in the head. The victim, who was found in his bed, had his feet tied with electrical cord and his shoulders bound with speaker wire. Fire marshals are still investigating the cause of the fire.
