More grim news: Like the Brooklyn puppies before them, two men were found dead — bound and gagged — when firefighters responded to a fire in the Howard Beach brush this morning, the Daily News reports. “My guess is that they weren’t there very long because the fire was started, apparently, to cover up the crime,” said Queens D.A. Richard Brown. “We are used to fires here,” said a local. “This is just an added twist.”
