The first time was in Turkey, where Bin Laden’s son-in-law and spokesman Sulaiman Abu Ghaith, a suspected 9/11 plotter, was apprehended in a luxury hotel, but “Turkish officials decided he had not committed any crime in Turkey, and released him,” the AP reports. This time, while passing through Jordan, Ghaith was captured by U.S. officials, who will most certainly not be letting him go, ever.
