A predictable, completely fabricated conservative panic erupted earlier this year around the news that the University of Chicago planned to knock down a building where a 2-year-old Ronald Reagan resided for less than a year. (The building was denied landmark status for not being associated with Reagan’s “active and productive years,” despite the fact that he likely learned skills there that helped him become president, like using stairs.) No, the property is not being turned into a parking lot for Obama’s presidential library, despite what Fox News may have said, but it was demolished today, and yes, some people are pretending like that somehow matters to them.

Hopefully a Fox & Friends memorial is pending.
