Judge Approves Morning-After Pill for All Ages Without Prescription

In a victory for reproductive rights, a federal ruling in Brooklyn this morning states that the U.S. government must make the “morning-after” emergency contraception pill available to anyone, no longer requiring women under 16 to have a prescription. The FDA previously recommended the pill be freely available over the counter, but was overruled by the Obama administration.
