A very deep dive by ProPublica finds that New York prosecutors for the district attorney almost never face consequences for, say, screwing up bad enough that a murderer goes free. In fact, “harmful misconduct” leading to tossed convictions led to just one prosecutor getting “disbarred, suspended, or censured” in the last ten years. Read the whole thing for some good old-fashioned outrage.
