During this post-Boston bombing nervousness, where any old suspicious package is enough to evacuate the Port Authority bus terminal, it’s incredible that the arrest of a man for allegedly bringing improvised explosive devices on a New York-bound NJ Transit train went unnoticed until Thursday. It happened before the bombing, but prosecutors charged Mykyta Panasenko the same day as the attack — which could have something to do with why it was overlooked. The Jersey Journal only got the story because a reporter there happened to catch him in court.
