Woman Found on Canal Street Subway Tracks Wasn’t Hit by a Train

The woman who was found dead on the southbound 1 line tracks in the Canal Street station on Sunday has been identified as 22-year-old Emily Singleton of Park Slope. According to the Post, a video shows her leaving McKenna’s Pub on West 14th Street around 1:30 a.m.. Sources tell DNAinfo that it appears Singleton was killed by the fall onto the tracks. She was found with no ID or cell phone, and police are still investigating.
