The hackers working for a unit of China’s People’s Liberation Army are back at their old tricks of cyber-attacking U.S. targets after a three-month hiatus, the New York Times reports, citing the security firm Mandiant. The firm wouldn’t specify which companies they’re targeting, “but it did say the victims were many of the same ones the unit had attacked before.” On the plus side it gives workers at Coca Cola, Lockheed Martin, RSA, Schneider Electric, and the Times itself, among others, a viable excuse for not opening e-mail.
