Cyclist Dies During Five Boro Bike Tour

Sad news from today’s Five Boro Bike Tour: 51-year-old Michael Boren suffered a heart attack while crossing the Ed Koch Queensboro Bridge. The New York Daily News reports that the Michigan resident died at New York-Presbyterian Hospital an hour later. Unfortunately, this kind of tragedy isn’t one organizers can plan for.
