
Lipton was in charge of “a whole bordello” full of prostitutes in Paris following World War II, he tells Parade. But he wasn’t the abusive, pimp-slapping kind of pimp. “The French mecs didn’t exploit women,” he says. “They represented them, like agents. And they took a cut.
