Attendees of Brooklyn’s newish Barclays Center have noticed that the arena has a “signature scent,” DNAinfo reports, that is probably part of a secretive marketing plan “meant to enhance the consumer experience and build brand identities.” (Ew.) While the exact odor is hard to place, it has been described as a “kind of pleasant,” Axe-body-spray-like “weird, musky, cologne-y smell,” which beats piss.
