Erin Brockovich Highlights the Dangers of Drunken Boating

With a DUI arrest. The environmental activist was arrested for boating while intoxicated at Lake Mead near Las Vegas on Friday night. A game warden noticed that Brokovich needed help while trying to moor her motor boat, and she was found to have a blood-alcohol level just over twice the legal limit of .08. On Sunday, Brokovich admitted a couple of drinks on an empty stomach “had a greater impact than I had realized,” but said she was only moving the boat its slip. “At no time was the boat away from the dock and there was no public safety risk,” Brockovich explained. “That being said, I take drunk driving very seriously, this was clearly a big mistake, I know better and I am very sorry.”
