The above photo is the first result that came up when we searched iStockphoto for “sad white dude.” (Technically, it was the second one; the first one was kind of expensive.) What is the occasion for this white-person sadness? The Times reports:

Sometime in the next three decades, white people will no longer represent the majority of the United States. They will instead become … the plurality. This is a huge development for our imaginary social constructs.
