The Brooklyn man who refused to testify against the woman who shot him in the head because he wants to marry her continues his impossible optimism: “I’m not disappointed that we can’t see each other,” said Randy Costa today, after a judge ordered the fiery couple stay apart. “I’m just relieved that she didn’t get jail time. It could have been a lot worse.” Like, say, if he had died when she, y’know, shot him in the head.
