Religious Vandalism in Brooklyn Was Nondenominational

Chris Papadimitropoulos, a 55-year-old Brooklyn man with a guilty grin and goofy tank top, has been charged with criminal mischief as a hate crime for allegedly desecrating religious sites across Brooklyn, including the Holy Cross Greek Orthodox Church and the Bay Ridge Jewish Center. He’s accused of hitting at least five places of worship and two residences with red spray paint (Washington, D.C.’s vandals prefer green) all together, writing “NO” in giant letters at the Jewish Center. At the Bay Ridge Prep School, he switched it up and scrawled “ON,” so he may also be dyslexic.
