New Brooklyn Nets Way Happier Than New Boston Celtics

When three former Brooklyn Nets were introduced as the newest members of the Boston Celtics on Monday, they didn’t even bother to pretend to be excited. Keith Bogans and MarShon Brooks stared despondently into space as if contemplating their mortality, while Kris Humphries decided the least he could do is open his mouth a little.

Today, the three guys those sad bastards were exchanged for in last week’s trade — former Celtics Kevin Garnett, Paul Pierce, and Jason Terry — were introduced to the New York media and Brooklyn Nets fans. And they were a lot happier. Partly because they are now playing for one of the East’s best teams. And partly because they got cake.
