Marjorie Ramondetta was checking out the Washington Heights building where she was born in 1919 — but hadn’t seen for 73 years — when a man pretending to give them a tour of the apartment pushed her down the stairs and stole her purse. Ramondetta was accompanied by her 65-year-old daughter, who was taking photos for a family scrapbook. Who could do such a thing? The suspect, Richard Davidson, is accused of snatching purses from at least two other elderly women.
