The bad-boys-cum-rich-men at Vice Media have sold a 5 percent stake in the company to Rupert Murdoch’s 21st Century Fox for $70 million, valuing the free rag/online video factory/HBO-show behemoth at $1.4 billion overall, or more than five Washington Posts. “Wild, interesting effort to interest millenials who don’t read or watch established media. Global success,” Murdoch tweeted late last year.
