Following the New York Times’ epic outage, which it maintains was not a cyberattack, the website of the Washington Post was hacked today by the Syrian Electronic Army. “The group is a hacker collective that supports Syrian President Bashar al-Assad,” the paper informed readers. “The Post is working to resolve the issue.” The SEA has hit social-media accounts for various news outlets over the last few months, including the New York Post this week in an effort to “become known to all.” Welcome to the newspaper game, Jeff Bezos.
