Afroduck, the Guy Who Drove Around Manhattan Super Fast, Got Arrested

The man formerly known as Afroduck.

The driver who filmed himself doing a crazy, weaving lap around Manhattan in a record-setting 24 minutes and then posted the feat on YouTube has been caught, just like the NYPD promised. When the clip went viral, police commissioner Ray Kelly called out the “dangerous driver” personally, while the pseudonymous Afroduck bragged, “You frankly can’t identify who I am by just looking at the video.” Underestimating the largest police force in the country probably never turns out well: 30-year-old Christopher Adam Tang was arrested and charged for the joyride last night.

Despite stopping for red lights, Tang faces an array of charges, including but not limited to reckless endangerment, reckless driving, a speed violation, and a traffic-device violation, according to the Daily News. Worse, Jalopnik reports, his car was impounded. He’ll always have the YouTube views:
