Taxi Tickets Up 7,300 Percent

The Taxi and Limousine Commission punished rule-breaking drivers with a whopping 22,000 “data-generated” summonses this fiscal year, compared to just 300 four years ago, thanks to new computer technology from inside the cab. The drivers are still crazy, but the machines are winning.
