The Wall Street Journal reports that a New Zealand company is preparing to launch its line of jetpacks next year. The Martin Jetpacks, which can go 7,000 feet in the air at a speed of 50 miles an hour, will cost $150,000 apiece, and be subject to regulatory approval. But that’s a small price to pay to zoom above slow-walking tourists in midtown.
