Not only does this fearless Long Island bodega clerk remain remarkably calm when a masked man puts a gun in his face, but he barely flinches when the would-be thief fires a shot from a .22-caliber pistol right past his head into the wall. Then the clerk smoothly reaches under the counter, unsheathes his massive machete, and chases the guy with the gun out the door. Once the guy leaves, our superhero keeps up his pursuit — waving the knife wildly — because adrenaline is one hell of a drug.
