Giant Staten Island Ferris Wheel Gets City Council Green Light

Staten Island’s City Council representatives celebrated the council’s unanimous vote approving that giant Ferris wheel by indulging in some truly cringe-worthy punsmanship. “I’m ecstatic,” Councilwoman Debi Rose told the Staten Island Advance. “And to quote (Councilman) Vinny Ignizio, I’m wheely, wheely, wheely, happy.” Ugh. Thank god they’re only doing this once.
