In almost any situation, a midair collision between two planes would kill most or all of those on board. The one exception is when the planes are full of skydivers who can just jump out and float to safety, like they were planning to do anyway, which is what happened over the skies of Wisconsin on Saturday. Not only did all nine skydivers and both pilots make it out alive, but the group was then reportedly paid “in excess of $100,000” by NBC News for the rights to some of the footage of the crash taken by the skydivers’ helmet-cams. All in all, not a terrible skydiving trip?
