Here’s a truly awful one: An unidentified 30-something man leaped from a 52-floor building near the Lincoln Center on Sunday, killing himself and fatally injuring his 3-year-old son, who later died at St. Luke’s Roosevelt Hospital. (The New York Post claims the father “tossed” the boy before jumping himself, which would seem to make this even more terrible.) The authorities are currently looking for the child’s mother.
