Lest he become the first New York City mayor to not appear on Saturday Night Live since the show’s inception, Michael Bloomberg spent a few minutes on “Weekend Update” last night. Unsurprisingly, he made a pretty good straight man, explaining that his Spanish accent might not be bueno enough for a career as a language instructor and sharing his “lifelong dream of enjoying a small soda on a non-smoking beach.” And now he’ll never be forced to skip a weekend in Bermuda again.
