U.S. World Cup Draw Basically Hopeless

In what Sports Illustrated calls “easily the toughest U.S. World Cup draw ever,” the men’s national team ended up in Group G with its recent rival Ghana, Cristiano Ronaldo’s Portugal, and traditional powerhouse Germany. It will be a miracle if they make it out alive, and it gets more difficult from there.
