U.S. Ambassador to Russia Will Leave After the Olympics

After two action-packed years on the job, during which he helped the Obama administration attempt a “reset” of U.S.-Russia relations (with mixed success), Ambassador Michael McFaul announced on Tuesday that he will leave his job to move back to California with his family. But he’ll stick around through the Olympics first, provided the weather even allows for them.
