New Jersey is so weird. People there didn’t even want a big cosmetics company putting up billboards all over the state calling it the armpit of America. The ads for Dove would have said “Dear New Jersey, When people call you ‘The Armpit of America,’ take it as a compliment. Sincerely, Dove.” But those strange New Jersey people with their strange preferences complained to Dove’s parent company, Unilever, and got the ads pulled. Ugh, they probably also don’t like politically motivated traffic problems. Weirdos.
