Columbia Student Paper Hears This Internet Journalism Stuff Is Going to Be Big

The kids at the Daily Spectator have decided that digital-first is the way of the future and will move to a once-a-week paper copy while maintaining a daily website, becoming the first Ivy to ditch print, Capital New York reports. “This is not something that we have to do,” said editor Abby Abrams. “It’s a choice.” For a leg up, Harvard should figure out a way to just put the entire Crimson on Snapchat.
