A 30-foot whale washed up in Brooklyn this morning before being towed to the New Jersey side, where its death will be investigated. The giant sea creature joins recent deceased whales in the news, including the one tagged with Greek letters in Atlantic City, the one that almost exploded in Newfoundland (the website hasthewhaleexplodedyet.com was a huge letdown), and the other one in nearby Cape St. George, a carcass now selling on eBay for about $200 (“Once the fat and flesh is removed you have a spectacular 40 foot skeleton of the largest toothed whale in the world, great for museums and other attractions”).
