King, the stray cat rescued in Bed-Stuy after a video of 21-year-old Andre Robinson kicking him surfaced on Facebook, is recovering at an ASPCA hospital. The organization says that he “will continue to receive treatment and close monitoring as he heals.” Thanks to the internet, there are already numerous adoption requests for the 1-year-old survivor, though it’s “still too soon to discuss a timeline for King’s adoptability.” Here’s hoping some loving family gets to take him home soon.
