After a weekend with disturbing echoes of the Avonte Oquendo tragedy, 14-year-old Eliceo Cortez has been reunited with his family. The autistic boy, who is described as high-functioning but struggles with public transit, took a city bus instead of a school bus toward home on Friday afternoon. Thankfully, this one has a happy ending.
