Parenting seems really hard! And so, in a capitalist society, it only makes sense that businesses have popped up to help with every single aspect of the struggle, right down to assistance in getting rid of your kids for an extended period of time. Let the New York Post, then, introduce the uninitiated to the extremely First World concept of professional packers, who, for just $250 an hour, will get those lovable brats ready for sleep-away camp with not a luxury spared. Because little Atticus and Clementine deserve the best.

The experts work for organization agencies with names like Resourceful Consultants and Chaos Theory. Tara Palmeri reports:

It takes three to four hours to pack for clients who demand that she fit all of the comforts of home in the luggage, including delicate touches like French-milled soaps and scented candles.

At $250 an hour, the cost for a well-packed kid can run $1,000.

I talked three people off the camp ledge,” [Barbara Reich of Resourceful Consultants] told The Post. “For a lot of mothers, particularly when their child is going away for the first time, it’s very stressful. Clients will say, ‘I need to touch and feel the sheets for softness.’ ”

The first person to “disrupt” this budding “space” with a start-up wins. The rest of the planet weeps.
