Last month, New York’s Joe Hagan explored whether Lara Logan is too toxic to return to 60 Minutes, and now we have our answer. CBS News confirmed on Wednesday that Logan is back at work seven months after she was ordered to take a leave of absence over her discredited Benghazi report. According to The Hollywood Reporter, she won’t show up on 60 Minutes until the fall, but she’ll be popping up on other CBS News broadcasts in the coming weeks. Unsurprisingly, Media Matters chairman David Brock isn’t pleased. “CBS indicated that they were serious about rebuilding its brand and taking accountability,” he said. “Having Logan back on 60 Minutes shows the exact opposite.”
