A massive five-alarm fire engulfed three Staten Island town houses early this morning and took 200 firefighters nearly eight hours to control. At least 23 firefighters and 11 civilians were injured, though none of the injuries are thought to be life-threatening. Among the most shaken was a dad who tossed his two kids, believed to be 3 and 5, to neighbors standing below his second-story window. The woman who caught his daughter sprained her arm in the process. “The little girl got up and gave me a hug. I melted,” the hero neighbor told the Post.
