Times Square Spider-Man Arrested, Again

Once again, one of the men who hang around New York City dressed up as superheroes and other beloved characters has attacked another person. On Friday afternoon, a Times Square Spider-Man was arrested for groping a woman’s breasts and butt as he put his arm around her on Broadway and 42nd Street. The New York Daily News reports that Spidey — a.k.a. 22-year-old Moussa Rabaoui — also yelled and cursed at his victim when she got angry at him. He’s been charged with forcible touching and is being held on $250 bail. The incident came just days after one of Rabaoui’s comrades, Times Square Spider-Man Philip Williams, was acquitted of an assault charge he got for punching a female tourist who stiffed him on a tip. It might be time to just ban that particular costume from midtown.
