Law Enforcement Reportedly Sent NFL a Copy of the Ray Rice Tape in April

According to a source from the AP, a law enforcement official sent the NFL a copy of the horrifying video showing former Baltimore Ravens running back Ray Rice knocking his wife unconscious all the way back in April.

The AP reports that the law enforcement official played a voicemail that proves the NFL received the tape three months ago. The message recorded a female voice saying, “You’re right. It’s terrible.”

The NFL insisted earlier today that nobody in the league had seen the tape. The law enforcement official could only confirm they had received it, not that anyone in the NFL had watched it.
