Last week, the entire internet rallied around Draven Rodriguez, a Schenectady High School student who launched a petition to get his school to allow him to use a photo of him holding a cat in front of a bunch of lasers as his senior portrait.
Unfortunately, the school declined to give in to Rodriguez’s demands, but did offer a compromise:
Instead, he and his cat will appear in a photo with the school principal and her dog. It will go on the principal’s page in the yearbook. The page will support animal rescue and adoption.
Cats >>> dogs, sorry.
