Too Much Cheese Probably Not to Blame for Kim Jong-un’s Disappearance

While the best rumor about the boy king’s six-week absence from his zany photo ops involved him getting gout from his obsession with Emmental, South Korea’s spy agency says it was actually boring ankle surgery for tarsal tunnel syndrome, or a compressed nerve. Not that the cheese helps: “Given his obesity and excessive activities, the trouble could recur despite the surgery.”
