Uber, the on-demand car service that keeps hiring rapists, is expecting this New Year’s Eve to be its busiest date yet. Customers could see surge pricing up to 7 times the typical fare, especially between the hours of 12:30 a.m. and 2:30 a.m.
Uber recommends staying put between those hours to avoid the highest prices, or requesting right when the ball drops to beat the rush. The better option? Just stay home, eat pizza, and fall asleep before the clock even strikes midnight.
