Brooklyn Is Getting Its Own Apple Store

It’s finally happening: The Apple is coming to Brooklyn. More specifically, it’s coming to Williamsburg, because where else were they going to put it? The New York Post reports that “the tech-products powerhouse has signed a long-term lease for a 20,000-square-foot store at 247 Bedford Ave. at the corner of North 3rd Street.” Set to open in 2015, the Brooklyn shop will be Apple’s seventh New York City location (there are currently five in Manhattan and one on Staten Island). Are the neighborhood’s residents going to complain like they did when that Dunkin’ Donuts plopped down across the street from the L station last year? Somehow we doubt it.
